That we are moving in the right direction with this is shown not least of all by the many positive reviews and our com- mendation in Trend Shop 2022 as well as being recognised as growing shop of the year in the office equipment category! SUSTAINABILITY Discussions about sustainability bring with them uncertainty but also a rethinking. As we process plastics among other things, we have thought about how to move forward with this. We have already been working with alternative materials for a long time. As far back as 2011 we were the first manufacturer of shelf edge strips made from PLA. Although demand was still low we persevered with the topic of natural material based plastics and developed it further. Alongside renewable raw materials, recycled materials became an important component. Recyclates consist of scrap which is conditioned and reused as raw material for a new process. The scrap comes from very different sources. In part it is products such as shelf edge strips which are shredded, regranulated and then used to make new profiles or baskets. Another part is from post consumer waste which we acquire from certificated recycling companies. COMPANY OVERVIEW Product Development and Design We start the search for a solution as soon as we receive your enquiry. The first phase of the creative process is brainstorming. The ideas are put on paper in the form of product sketches and discussed with you. Then follows the technical planning with the help of CAD technology. To better visualise the products we create virtual models which contain all the details for later production. In the next step we create prototypes in which the models are mostly made using 3D printing. At this stage the finished look of the product can be recognised. The prototype serves as the final product control. renzel NATURE Plastics Processing We convert plastics in to displays for different purposes. These plastics include acrylic (PMMA), ABS, polystyrene (PS), PVC, polycarbonate (PC) and PET as well as sustainable plastics which are made from renewable raw materials. More and more industries are using recycled materials, particularly plastics waste, which closes the material life cycle and preserves resources. We use the following processes with plastics: extrusion, injection moulding, thermoforming and high frequency welding. Metal Processing In metal processing we use semi-finished parts in aluminium, steel and stainless steel. These are worked on in the different production areas to create a finished product. Finishing techniques such as lasering, stamping, chamfering, milling, forming, nibbling, welding, sawing and pressing are used. The surfaces of the finished products are refined with processes such as powder coating, galvanising, chrome plating or anodising. Wood Processing In contrast to plastics is the naturally occuring raw material wood. To be able to offer alternative materials we also process wood. Displays in wood give modern POS a high quality, natural appearance. In combination with other materials such as metal or acrylic, displays are created which have that certain something. COMPANY OVERVIEW Tool Production So that the various plastic processing methods can be used, we make the required tools ourselves, e.g. punches for PVC processing, extrusion tools for extruded products, vacuum forms and injection moulding tools. The files for creating these tools are defined using models from product development. With the help of tool production, third party tools can be adapted to and used with our machines. Printing Nearly all products can be customised with varying processes. To realise all customer requirements screen, digital, transfer, pad and offset printing are used. Additionally there is the option to finish products with engraving, etching or embroidery. Assembly and Logistics In the logistics department storage, management, picking and packing take place across an area of 6000 m². A range of services such as assembly, distribution and storage are offered to allow customer-friendly despatch. Fully automated and paper-free picking promotes sustainability and in addition offers shorter picking times which in turn ensure a quick despatch of products. Shipping is via freight forwarder or courier. Services: renzel.agentur The in-house advertising agency renzel.agentur supports you in presenting your company. The services run from the creation of a corporate design through headed paper to classic printed media for your company.
